What is a vegetable membership and what are the benefits?

The weekly vegetable membership is based on the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model as a grassroots way for consumers to support small-scale local food production in their communities.

As a member of the farm, you buy a share of the season's harvest in advance. This supports the farm by helping cover the input costs of seeds and materials for the coming season and allows you to enjoy fresh veggies throughout the season. The CSA model also allows us to plan each week's harvest resulting in less food waste, reduces stress for the farmer during the busy growing season, and makes seasonal eating easy and fun for you and your family.

Signing up for our weekly vegetable membership supports us by pledging your support for locally produced food that is good for you and the planet. Your pledge to eat locally grown foods directly supports the local economy and is an investment in our local sustainable food system. Additionally, it supports you and your family by providing convenient and healthy vegetables that make cooking fun and taste great too!
